Sensory Art & Craft with Hillcrest Centre

Hillcrest Centre is a Social Club of young ladies is a Social Enterprise for Education and Development (SEED). Hillcrest Centre is a dynamic club where girls receive a continuing holistic education to complement what they receive in school and at home.

The young ladies visited our Home to spend a Saturday morning in an engaging activity with our elderly residents. The activity was to create a Japanese art & craft bookmark and picture using pastel coloured crayons, a small strainer and white cardboard. Residents were taught how to colour the picture and bookmark from a sample provided. Residents and volunteers had a great time working on the sensory art & craft work.

Thank you Hillcrest Centre for spending your valuable time with our residents and this wonderful activity. We look forward to your next visit to our Home in 2019 for another fun weekend.
