School of the Arts (SOTA)
Publish on: 08, Mar 2019SOTA and THK NH collaborate on the long term partnership for their students to engage with 8 of our dementia residents for 11 sessions. The first session started on 15 February and will end on 31 May.
The last week of May will be 5 days of activities. The SOTA students are Year 4s (age 16) this year. The group will consist of approximately 18 to 20 students, selected from the various art forms ranging from Visual Arts, Dance, Music, Theatre or Literary Arts.
The students will plan the activities to engage and interact with 8 of the residents. Residents had an enjoyable time during their visit and are happy to see them regularly.
