MY BIKE GROUP (MBG)
Publish on: 24, Dec 2018My Bike Group or MBG is bike group that seeks to bring bikers young and old and with all levels of skills and experience to explore Singapore and surrounding regions on 2 wheels. The group also hopes to bring joy and friendship to the less fortunate and to remind them that they have not been forgotten with visits to VWOs.
30 MBG members cycled to THK Nursing Home to volunteer and spend a wonderful morning of activities with our elderly residents. The morning activity started with a simple exercise followed by rounds of Bingo, passing the parcel where wonderful prizes won by the residents, every resident had a prize. A sumptuous was snacks were provided by the volunteers and finally sing-a-long sessions.
The residents enjoyed the visit and making new friends with the MBG volunteers and the many wonderful gifts. Thank you MBG members from all of us for your generous donations in-kind and gifts for our residents. We hope you will cycle back to us again next year.
