Filipino Befrienders
Publish on: 24, Mar 2019Our volunteering Filipino Befrienders lead by Elsa regularly visit THK NH to spend 2 hours every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month with our dementia ward female residents. The group has now grown from 5 to 15 with more waiting to join as Befriending volunteer.
They engage the female dementia residents with sing-a-long, dance performance, activity games and feeding our residents during lunch. All the activities are held in the ward day room from 10.00am to 12.00pm. Our residents look forward to their regular visits.
